|Profile||The Former National Champion is having one of hisÂ best years ever, having placed 4thÂ in the 2.3.5 Sub-Zonal held in Barbados to qualify for the 2017 Zonal Championships and anchoring the Barbados team on Board 4 to its best ever Olympiad performance at the World Chess Olympiad in Baku.
Other notable performances include tying for 2nd in the 2.3.5 Sub-Zonal in Venezuela in 2006 where he gain his International Master title and winning the inaugural Heroes Day Cup in 2002 and the Heroes Day Candidates in 2005.
A Chess Coach for the National Sports Council and former Louis Lynch Secondary student, he can be found most Saturday mornings at the Barbados Union of Teachers conducting classes for many of the islands aspiring juniors.
An eight time Olympian, he achieve his best performance this year in Baku on Board 4 with a 2302 performance rating, just 1 point short of his lifetime best rating of 2303.
